Buffalo Pound Potable Water Supply System Service Interruption Bulletin Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA)

Attention: Buffalo Pound Potable North and West Water Supply System Customers

SaskWater has been advised that maintenance work at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP) has resulted in a water service disruption to SaskWater’s customers on the Buffalo Pound North and West potable systems. Service is expected to be restored by 6:00 pm.

Customers on the North and West pipelines should note that the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency (WSA) will be issuing a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) as a result of the work.

Once the PDWA has been rescinded, SaskWater will notify its customers at that time.  Please also note that the Villages of Marquis, Tuxford, Bethune, Disley and the Qu’Appelle Valley Water Users are exempt from this PDWA advisory due to their offline storage and re-chlorination capabilities.
