    Service Bulletin & PDWA- Buffalo Pound North & West Potable Water Supply, December 1, 2018

    Attention:       Buffalo Pound Potable Water Supply System (North and West) Customers

     

     

    SaskWater has been advised that the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant experienced a power outage on December 1st 2018. As a result of this power outage, the Water Security Agency has issued a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory effective at 9:00 pm for all SaskWater customers on the Buffalo Pound West and North potable systems.

     

    Once the associated sampling protocol has been completed ensuring the quality of the water was not adversely affected due to the associated pipeline depressurization, SaskWater will notify its affected customers that the PDWA has been rescinded at that time.

     

    Please note that the Villages of Tuxford, Marquis, Bethune, Disley, and the Qu’Appelle Valley Water Users Assoc. are exempt from this PDWA due to re-chlorination capabilities.
