Attention:       Saskatoon Non-Potable East & West Water Supply System Customers

SaskWater has been advised that maintenance work has been scheduled at the SaskPower Queen Elizabeth (QE) Pump Station that will require a shutdown of the SaskWater intake located at the facility. As a result, a temporary intake and pump will be installed by SaskWater that will provide a continued supply to customers while the pumpstation intake work is being performed. However, customers should note that there may be slight reductions in peak flows and pressures while the temporary equipment is in operation. Also, occasional brief disruptions in service during the period will also be required in order to service the temporary equipment.

During this period, customers are asked to minimize their peak flows and/or intermittent consumption whenever possible, as it will greatly assist with the operation of the temporary pumping system.
