  • SERVICE BULLETIN: Temporary Interruption - Buffalo Pound Potable, May 26, 2020

    May 25, 2020

Attention:       Buffalo Pound Potable Water Supply System Customers

SaskWater has been advised that maintenance work is scheduled at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant which will require a temporary shutdown of the treatment plant. Service to SaskWater customers is not expected to be affected as long as reservoir levels at the plant can be maintained above critical levels; however, it is recommended that customers have their on-site storage maintained at adequate levels should a service interruption subsequently be required. SaskWater East potable customers may see a slight reduction in pressure during this period. The timeline for the maintenance work is expected to be as follows:

Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant maintenance is scheduled to be performed between 8:00am and 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 26th

Customers should note that a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) is not expected to be issued and should anything change with regards to the service impact of the scheduled work, SaskWater will notify its customers at that time.

Any questions regarding this scheduled work can be directed to:
