  • Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) Buffalo Pound North Potable Water Supply System (Partial)

    Attention:       SaskWater Buffalo Pound North Potable Water Supply System Customers

     

    SaskWater will be performing a leak repair on the Buffalo Pound North Potable Water Supply System on the pipeline that extends south of the Arm River Colony. The repair will require a temporary shutdown of the pipeline during the following period:

     

    Buffalo Pound North Potable pipeline repair work is scheduled to be performed between

    8:00am and 6:00pm on Thursday May 7th

     

    Customers on the affected section of pipeline should note that the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency (WSA) has issued a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) as a result of this repair. This PDWA will remain in effect until the follow-up sampling protocol has been completed confirming that the quality of the water was not been adversely affected. SaskWater will be notifying its customers once the PDWA has been lifted.  

     Please note that the Village of Disley and the QuAppelle Valley Water Users are exempt from this advisory due to their offline storage and re-chlorination capabilities.
