The Town of Wakaw is committed to providing recreational opportunities for all of its residents. This includes offering the use of facilities at affordable rates so that all residents have access.

To achieve this, the town undertook a fundraising project to improve the service provided at the Wakaw Jubilee Arena by purchasing half boards that divide the ice into the appropriate size surface for the U7 and U9 age levels of the Wakaw Minor Hockey Association.

SaskWater was happy to provide the Town of Wakaw, a valued customer, with a $2,500 donation towards this initiative supporting the efforts of the local hockey association to provide healthy athletic opportunities benefitting the physical and social development of local youth.
