Marie Alexander

Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Services

In February 2011, Marie Alexander became the Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Services at SaskWater. In this capacity, she is responsible for human resources, finance and accounting, administrative services, legal services, IT services, policy and planning, corporate communications and business development for the corporation.

Marie has been with SaskWater since August 2006. She worked as the Manager, Human Resources until she became the Acting Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Services in March 2010.

Marie brings 25 years of human resource and senior management experience and has worked in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining SaskWater, Marie held senior positions at SIAST in Saskatoon, the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, and worked as the Manager of Human Resources for the Niagara Regional Police Service.

Marie is a graduate of the University of Victoria, holds her designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals.
