Denise Soar

Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Services

In March of 2006, Denise Soar became the Vice President, Corporate and Human Services at SaskWater. Her portfolio was expanded in the fall of 2008 to include business development and her new title is Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Services. In this capacity, she is responsible for human resources, finance and accounting, administrative services, legal services, IT services, policy and planning, corporate communications and business development for the corporation.

Denise brings 24 years of financial and senior management experience and has worked in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining SaskWater, Denise held a number of senior positions at Crown Life Insurance in Regina, worked as the Controller for Raider Industries in Moose Jaw, and then joined the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority as Manager of Budget and Financial Analysis.

Denise is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
