In 2002, Saskatchewan Environment implemented Saskatchewan’s Safe Drinking Water Strategy (pdf) which requires adherence to Provincial Quality Standards and Objectives (pdf).

As your certified operator, SaskWater will handle the day-to-day regulatory requirements and contacts with authorities. We will also review any inspection reports prepared by regulatory authorities and recommend economical solutions for the customer to address deficiencies identified by the report.
