Ground Water Source – Wells
SaskWater’s certified operators supervise or perform the following functions with respect to groundwater source supplies.
- Review water allocation amount as per permit with Saskatchewan Watershed Authority (SWA)
- Monitor well water level(s)
- Monitor aquifer water level (Piezometers)
- Monitor flow and pumping hours
- Inspect and operate pump controls, motors and electrical equipment
- Inspect electrical supply system.
- Maintain the motor and pumps, monitor pump output/flow, discharge pressure and hours of operation
- Pigging/Swabbing and Disinfection of Raw Water Line
