Attention: Saskatoon East & North East Potable Water Supply (SPWS-E/NE) Customers:
SaskWater potable water customers supplied via connections along Highways 5 & 41 are advised that an emergency leak repair has been scheduled on the SPWS-NE supply line.
The leak repair will be performed on Tuesday June 12th between 9:30am to 6:00pm and customers will experience the following service levels during the repair period:
- SaskWater customers supplied via connections along Highway 41 will experience a complete interruption of service.
- SaskWater customers supplied via connections along Highway 5 will experience reduced pressures with possible periods of no service.
Also please note that due to the extended system depressurization on the North East supply line, a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) will be issued on the SPWS-NE system effective 9:30 am on June 12th. This PDWA will remain in effect until the follow-up sampling protocol has been completed confirming that the quality of the water was not adversely affected during the construction work. SaskWater will once again notify its affected customers when the PDWA is lifted.
